Getting into the spirit to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Since 2nd of June 2012, Britain has embarked on 4 days of celebrations to mark the queen’s diamond jubilee. Communities across the UK are holding different events to commemorate this special occasion in british history and wherever you go, houses, offices and shops are decorated with flags and bunting, turning streets into colourful displays of red, white & blue.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to London to see the many celebrations being held there over the extended weekend, so I have been walking around locally with my phone and taking photos of the many flags, bunting etc, decorating the streets for this special occasion.

Below are some of the images I have taken on my phone over the 4 day period of celebration.
